Teacher of Violin / M.A.
Along with my active performing career, I am an experienced violin/viola teacher with qualifications of Violin Concert Performer/Teacher's Degree and Master of Arts. I graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatorium (former USSR) and have 20 years of experience in both teaching and performing. I have worked with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Soloists of Venezuela Orchestra, Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and as well as a soloist with the Penrith Symphony Orchestra.
I work with students of all levels and ages. Currently I work as a violin and viola teacher at Santa Sabina College, St Patrick's College and at various primary and high schools throughout the Inner West of Sydney. Along with the traditional violin/viola teaching method, I also train students with the Suzuki method. I have extensive experience in preparing students from grades preliminary right through to AMUSA and LMUSA AMEB level exams.
