About Us
Avila String Quartet presents four musicians professionally trained in classical music. We hold tertiary level qualifications from local and overseas universities such as Yerevan State Conservatorium (former USSR) and one of our members is currently continuing his study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
We are now offering the string quartet or string trio with a
trumpet. Samples with a trumpet can be heard from tracks 24 - 29.
All our musicians have broad experience as professional artists. We have performed with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, SBS Symphony Orchestra and as well as the Fiesta Viva Entertainment company.
We have an extensive music repertoire for every occasion and audience, ranging from classical, jazz to modern day popular. Our library includes Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Handel, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Scott Joplin, Beatles etc.
Avila String Quartet has been an active part of Sydney's music life for the last ten years. We have entertained and brought the joy of music to countless people and organisations.
